Plainfield United Methodist Church to Host Annual Community Fish Fry

 
Plainfield United Methodist Church (PUMC) will hold its Annual Community Fish Fry July 28 and 29, 2017

under the big tent located at 600 Simmons Street in Plainfield, Indiana.

 

Hours of Service:
Friday, July 28, 11am-1pm & 4pm-8pm
Saturday, July 29, 11am-8pm
 
PUMC will be serving a variety of freshly prepared food, including, deep-fried fish, grilled chicken, bbq pulled pork, chicken tenders and more. Numerous sides and homemade pies, cakes and cookies are also on the menu.
 
Through PUMC small groups, the fish fry proceeds benefit local, national and global mission projects such as hunger alleviation programs, youth mission trips, local boy scouts, international outreach and more.

 

Founded in 1836, Plainfield United Methodist Church is centrally located on Simmons Street in Plainfield, IN. As one of Plainfield’s longest established churches, PUMC established Plainfield’s first Sunday school in 1844. Today, PUMC church members are very active in mission work that includes: missions to Costa Rica and hard hit and/or impoverished parts of the United States, feeding the poor/homeless in and around Plainfield and Indianapolis, provicind bicycles for community and church leaders in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, supporting schools and communities in Sierra Leone and much more.  To read more about PUMC, visit our website at http://www.pumc.org or on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/PlainfieldUMC.
